About Us
A Wayfarer is traditionally a name given to those who loved to travel. Often on foot, Wayfarers journeyed as a way of life, finding adventure while exploring the world around them.
We chose this name because, as a family we love to travel, explore, and experience what different places have to offer. We realised that sometimes when you focus so much on visiting far away places, you lose track of the beautiful places much closer to home. And living in Yorkshire, we are lucky to have incredible nature, towns and cities right on our doorstep.
​Starting with three beautiful cottages based in the Yorkshire , Wayfarer Collection aims to show our guests the very best of what the North has to offer. Whether you're looking for a famous hiking challenge or complete relaxation, Wayfarer Collection has the perfect 'home from home' for you.
Bailey Cottage,
Gargrave

Bailey Cottage is located directly on the village green in the picturesque village of Gargrave. Close to the beautiful river bank and the Leeds Liverpool canal, it is the perfect base to explore the Yorkshire Dales.
The cottage has been fully renovated in 2020, whilst retaining all of it's period character. Enjoy a beautiful country kitchen, cosy sitting room, three luxury bedrooms and a small seating area to the rear to enjoy your morning coffee.
Gargrave village has everything you need for your stay from local pubs, restaurants, a small supermarket, chemist and cafes.

Located just a two-minute stroll from the bottom of the famous cobbles of Howarth Main Street, Eyre Cottage is the perfect location from which to explore this amazing little town.
Fully renovated in Spring 2026, a new kitchen and bathroom fitted, every wall and floor redecorated, and every room furnished with love and care, Eyre Cottage has been returned to her former glory, with all the added luxury you need to have a wonderful stay in Howarth.
